The Power of the People

There are times where things just get out of control. It just brings up dust clouds and creates chaos. The power one person has to do something may not have an affect, but the power of us all can start a revolution. We have to ability to make a change in our lives and so many others all over the world.

“Never underestimate the power of dreams and the influence of the human spirit. We are all the same in this notion: The potential for greatness lives within each of us.” -Wilma Rudolph

Each and every one of us has the ability to create our own greatness. These ideas can be a start to awesome discoveries. Think about all this technology we have. Without the person who created this, you wouldn’t be able to read this. We all have our own dreams that we can achieve if we set our mind to it. If each of us can have our own great visions, couldn’t all of us combined have an even greater one? We have an amazing ability to solve our problems, figure out a solution, and make it happen. If we believe in something, we will take great strides to keep it alive.

“There can only be one state of mind as you approach any profound test; total concentration, a spirit of togetherness, and strength.”-Pat Riley

On May 24, 2012, there was a protest and one of the locations was in Montreal, Canada. Lots of people took to the streets banging pots and pans to create a bunch of noise and this lasted for days. They wanted to be heard and to protest against the rising prices required for colleges. The prices were getting way to high, and most people couldn’t afford it. This tradition of using pots and pans originated from Chile. Many people have used this method and it turns out to be very effective.

The power of the people has a great impact in our world. We can make great decisions that can change our futures. One person on their own may not have the ability to do this, but we can all help each other and make our world a stronger place.
