Our Own Stories

Our own story is written every single day. What we do creates a new chapter in our lives. There are many things that we could have done differently, but we can never go back. Every step, every breath, and every thought we have is written down in this book called Life. We can’t go back and erase our past, but we can always change the future. Yeah, we could rip out that page that we want to forget, but there is always that tear that reminds us. Finding love is a whole new story. It can come from a long relationship, a great friendship, or it can be unexpected.

Love doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s the person you are going out with. It means that you enjoy spending time with them. It can be a family member, best friend or pet. It doesn’t matter who it is, as long as they make you feel happy inside and out. They can help take part in writing our stories. They have great impacts on our lives and if we thought about it, what would we do without them. Our story would be a lot different. They’re small actions can have a huge effect on what the rest of our story is about.

“Never get tired of doing little things for others, sometimes those little tings occupy the biggest part of their hearts.”

Love can be difficult to find. Many people look for a long time and eventually give up, but there is always love even though you might not realize it. You may think this is cliche, but it really is true. You’ll always have somewhere there to love you. Even though they might not actually be there, they are always in your heart. They’ll never disappear if you remember them. Love is very important to our stories and always stick with us.

“I find the best way to love someone is not to change them, but instead, help them reveal the greatest version of themselves.” -Dr. Steve Maraboli

So this book of ours never really ends. Everyone knows they’ll be an end in their journey, but there are still your family and friends who keep you strong in their memories. Our stories explains our past and explains the impact we have on others. There are so many things that we do. We are all unique and there will never be someone exactly like you. So cherish yourself and know that you are one of a kind. Our stories are all different and no one has one just like yours.

  1. I love how you introduced the topic of having your life relate to a book. It is very well written and makes the reader want to read more. I like how you used quotes to enhance your paragraphs and opinions. I also like how you made your own picture for the blog, and the ending was awesome. Although in the second paragraph when you used the word affect, it should have been effect. Overall though, the topic was amazing, and it was very meaningful.
