What would I do without them…
What If the little face that always wakes you up, isn’t there anymore? What If they’re not there sitting at your feet waiting for you to “accidentally” drop something? What if…?
There’s too many questions to ask.
I’m that kind of person who will always take the chance of getting another pet, but of course my parents hold be back from getting a houseful of animals running around.

I’ve had my dog for eight years, almost nine, and I can’t imagine any day without him. I would wake up, and come back from school and he’s always excited to see us. We would call his name and his ears would pop up. I remember when he was a little puppy and would try to walk up and step, but would get too tired and just fall asleep there. He is the best. I’m closer to him than some of my friends that I’ve know for a while. He’s my little shadow.

I also have a chameleon, which is not exactly like a dog. I’ve had him for a year now, and it’s been a different experience, since my parents think he’s disgusting, but I convinced them to get him for me. I researched everything about them, what I needed & how I would take care of him. He’s cute and fun to have around, but doesn’t get excited unless I have some food for him. 😛 Even though he doesn’t get as excited as my dog, he’s still there to watch my back.

They can’t stay with me as long as I live though. I had a turtle, but she just got sick, and it didn’t work out. I was younger back then, so I guess I didn’t know much. Anyways, even though it’s heartbreaking, I still strive to make sure the pets I have now are getting the best and I’m still making improvements.
Without having these experiences, I would never know what I know now. I still try to convince my parents to get me another pet, but there’s school and my parents keep reminding me to get good grades and going into a good college. So, I guess I won’t get one, right now. But when I grow up, I’ll be that person with a bunch of dogs and a million other pets.
Well, I’ll see you on the other side of the moon. 🙂
