The Leaders of the World

In our country, we have Presidents. In others, they have kings and queens. In the animal kingdom, there’s always the wisest or strongest of the group to be the leader. But what about our life? We are all leaders of our own paths. You are making your own decisions about what you like, what you don’t, and especially your future.

“A leader is someone who demonstrates what’s possible.” -Mark Yarnell

A leader doesn’t always have to be the one who makes all the decisions for the entire world. Inventors and those who create ideas are the ones who build the roads. They lead the rest of the crowd to create more. They are the beginnings to new ideas. They lead their friends so success. They guide them towards what everyone wants. They help us out of the confusion and chaos. Without a leader, we would all be lost.

Being in a group of friends, there are the leader and the followers. They are the one who speaks up, decides what to do, and keeps everyone together. You don’t have to always decide what to do, but you can be the one who listens to others. The one who takes everyone else in consideration.

Some can view leaders as the controller of their life. There are bad leaders and good leaders. It depends on our opinions on them. But we mostly can all agree on is that a bad leader is someone who just thinks about themselves and ignores everyone else. It doesn’t always have to be like that though. We can be leaders by helping the bad leader understand what they are doing may not be right.

“A true leader is one who is humble enough to admit their mistakes.” – Anonymous

Nobody is perfect and we all have the mistakes that we wish we never would have made. It’s not the end of the world. Being strong enough to accept your mistakes is what makes you a leader.

You can be a leader even though you are shy or an introvert. I, personally, am not that kind of person who will speak out loud to a crowd of people. But that doesn’t mean we can’t be a leader. We can stand up for ourselves, for our friends, families, and others.
